Butterfly valves are quarter-turn rotary valves used for isolation and control of fluid flow in large pipelines and industrial systems. Their compact, lightweight design makes them suitable for space-constrained installations.
As a top Butterfly Valve Manufacturer, A F Bharat Valves provides cutting-edge flow control solutions designed for high-efficiency environments, such as pre-treatment pressure filter production and large-scale industrial processing.
Our Butterfly Valve is the ideal choice for industries requiring reliable isolation or precise flow regulation. Featuring a streamlined disc design, these valves operate with a high-speed quarter-turn action—similar to a ball valve—allowing for instant shut-off and rapid response times.
By integrating high-torque Pneumatic Actuators, we eliminate the need for manual operation. This shift to automation not only reduces labor costs but significantly enhances operational safety and workplace efficiency.

Disc
For valves with NPS < 2″, a Solid Disc design is used for maximum rigidity.
Sizes 2″ and above utilize Forged or Precision Cast Discs with a streamlined
profile for high flow coefficients (Cv) and low pressure drop.
Stem
One-piece, blow-out proof stem design. Precision-ground and polished surface
finish ensures optimal packing performance and compliance with low fugitive
emission standards.
Body & Connection Design
Wafer, Lug, or Flanged body designs available from Class 150 to 600.
For Class 900 and above, Triple Offset designs with heavy-duty construction
ensure structural integrity under extreme service conditions.
Seat Faces
Bubble-tight shut-off with resilient soft seats (EPDM/PTFE) for general service
or lapped metal-to-metal seats for high-temperature and abrasive media.
Optional renewable or Stellite-faced seats available.
Back Sealing
Advanced secondary sealing system. Carbon steel valves feature a removable/
adjustable gland for easy maintenance.
Gasket & Sealing
Class 150 to 600 valves use Stainless Steel + Flexible Graphite spiral wound
gaskets or reinforced PTFE seals. Class 900 and above employ laminated metal
seal rings or pressurized seal designs for zero-leakage performance.
